IVORY ROCK™

Strategy.Structure.Execution.

Strategic consulting for organisations dealing with consequential work. Evidence first. Clear scope. Defined outputs. Controlled execution.

02 / Problems

Consequential work becomes difficult in predictable ways.

Competing priorities, weak evidence, unclear accountability, misaligned vendors and strategy without execution discipline create avoidable risk.

Unclear decisions

Important decisions are made without a defined evidence base, explicit assumptions or clear ownership.

What we addressDecision structure, evidence review and documented recommendations.

Execution fragmentation

Projects involve many stakeholders, vendors and dependencies, with no single mechanism holding them together.

What we addressGovernance, coordination, sequencing and execution control.

Strategy without traction

Plans exist, but responsibilities, milestones, measures and next actions remain unclear.

What we addressExecution architecture, defined outputs and review mechanisms.

We work mainly with regulated companies in financial services, mobile money and fintech, energy and petroleum, and gaming. We also work with development partners and their implementers, and with public institutions.

03 / Engagement

A defined path from intake to closure.

  1. IntakeDefine the problem and decision required.
  2. DiagnoseReview evidence, constraints and dependencies.
  3. DesignSet the intervention, outputs and sequence.
  4. ContractFix scope, fee, acceptance criteria and responsibilities.
  5. ExecuteWork against the agreed statement of work.
  6. ReviewValidate outputs against evidence and criteria.
  7. CloseAccept, hand over and record what changed.
04 / Services

Defined services. Tangible outputs.

Engage a single service or a full programme. Fees shown are published starting points. Your written proposal, prepared after a scoping consult, fixes the scope, deliverables and fee before any work begins.

06 / Specimen

What a useful deliverable looks like.

Illustrative project health reviewNot a client record
Executive position
What requires attention now.
Evidence reviewed
Documents, interviews, data and stated constraints.
Current-state findings
Material issues separated from observations.
Risk / dependency map
What could prevent the intended result.
Priority interventions
Actions sequenced by consequence and dependency.
30 / 60 / 90-day architecture
What happens next, by whom and when.

The objective is not a longer report. It is a clearer decision.

07 / Field Notes

Working principles.

Complexity is not sophistication.

A strategy without an execution mechanism is only an intention.

Evidence should change the recommendation.

08 / Delivery standard

Evidence, structure and controlled execution.

Regulators, auditors, procurement boards and funders all ask the same question: how do you know? Our delivery system is built so that every engagement can answer it.

Specimen formatIllustrative, not a client record

Acceptance criterion
Material findings, dependencies and priority interventions are evidenced, assigned and sequenced.
Evidence

Audit trail
Every step logged, from intake to closure

You receive a record like this for every deliverable in your statement of work.

  • Every deliverable is named in the statement of work, with its acceptance criterion, before work starts.
  • Work begins only once the contract is signed and the conditions for starting are confirmed.
  • Each deliverable is handed over with a reference to the evidence behind it.
  • Each deliverable is checked against its criterion before you are asked to accept it.
  • Every step is logged, so the engagement leaves a complete audit trail.
